SPONSORSHIP FRAMEWORK
AERONAUTICA is structured as a collaborative production in which public support enables a broader network of contributions. The Palma 2031 funding request functions as the central catalyst for Phase 1, establishing the conditions that allow additional partnerships and in-kind support to be activated.
The project combines financial support, technical collaboration, and material contributions. Existing relationships — including camera partnership through 711 and connections within Mallorca’s production community — provide essential infrastructure that reduces equipment costs and supports on-site realisation.
Further partnerships are developed around specific production elements such as object construction, transport, workshop access, location facilitation, and exhibition preparation. This distributed model allows resources to be concentrated where they have the greatest artistic impact while maintaining flexibility across different phases of the series.
The sponsorship framework prioritises alignment over visibility. Partners are selected based on their capacity to contribute expertise, materials, or logistical support that directly influences the quality and feasibility of the work. In this way, collaboration becomes part of the project’s methodology rather than an external layer.
Public support plays a distinct role within this structure. By enabling the first chapter of the series, Palma 2031 support activates subsequent opportunities including exhibition partnerships, print sales, institutional collaborations, and future co-funding scenarios linked to the continuation of AERONAUTICA.
This approach ensures that Phase 1 produces lasting value: constructed objects, established workflows, and a collaborative network that remains active beyond the initial production period.
Additional partnerships are being developed in areas including production vehicles, workshop facilities, fabrication support, and exhibition logistics. Conversations with local production companies, craftspeople, and cultural venues indicate strong potential for further in-kind collaboration as the project progresses.

Technical infrastructure is partially supported through existing partnerships, including camera equipment provided by 711, ensuring high-resolution capture suitable for large-scale exhibition output.
